Wow, a real lot of positive remarks here. I'll have to be the one to bring the other side of the coin.

This was really hard on the eyes. Seeing him on that stool, subdued funky, indeed. This to me is a real bad sign, his music rocks and all, but Prince is about the complete image. I'll always back him, but it's a painful thought seeing Prince in a few years sitting in a big chair on stage like BBking. Okay for an acoustic set or some ballads, but not your dance tunes. Damn, made me real sad.

Also, his 'oeh oeh wee' was breaking up and he noticed it as well. Damn near broke my heart.

Some people say he was smiling, I noticed him being real shy: when the host entered the stage, looking down and not feeling comfortable at all.

Not a nice viewing...

Some of you guys are some negative folks. Dude is 51 and he is going to get older as the years go by if you expect him to jump off of a speaker at his age you need to get a grip. The performance was kick-ass and I still say P has more energy then some of his musical peers who really don't perform at all live anymore or just stand in one place. Yes, I have trouble seeing him aging. I don't expect to see him doing the splits, but this was a big step down from what I saw only two years ago. Yes, he's gonna get bald, deaf and stale, doesn't mean I have to like it.

And in case you didn't notice, he was just standing in one place...
