What if Prince was to compress the past five years into one album? Do U think this would be considered a PRINCE classic? What if the record was released by Warner Brothers will all new versions of the songs? What if this was the tracklist :

What if after the release of this cd Prince said "track 17 baby , U betta listen"!?! This could go down as the last "great" PRINCE cd. I believe that PRINCE has tons on great new songs that are mixed between a bunch of filler songs. It would be nice to see all of the new "great" songs compiled togther. If U ask me I think "Dreamer" should be released to Rock Stations. I dare U to make this song a hit. It really deserves to go down as a PRINCE classic. DO IT !!!

the sequencing on this proposed set makes no sense

i would leave all the lotusflower tracks on the lotusflower album since
they all make perfect sense on there and the album feels like a whole,
compared to the other albums since musicology wich all feel a bit like
they are mix tapes.

guitar makes me cringe every single time ... so no i dont think that would be a classic album ... i try and try to love his newer stuff but anytime something from his earlier years comes on i am overwhelmed by how awesome it truly is and nothing on that list has ever given me the same feeling ... sure there are great moments like chelsae rodgers or dance for me but even those contain cringe inducing moments that make it hard to get thru ... i havent heard that pure truth fire from prince in a long time ... his music feels like an excersise in product rather than a passion for creating beautiful art
