This brought a smile to my face this morning and took me off guard actually.

I listen to various radio stations but a lot of the time I don't listen to Sunny 103.1 in the morning because of a talk radio show. I like these guys...John Boy & Billy's, "The Big Show," However I usually listen to an "Old School," station in the morning.

Last night I had gone to bed with the oldies on my radio's throughout the house...and listened to the talk show this morning.

When it came time for the fun NEWS segment, the introduction was the music from Prince's, "Get on the Boat." They played a good minute of the song and talked over it. It sounded really good...the only lyrics were Prince saying..."Say it again."

It took me off guard because primarily this is 60's, 70's, and 80's, soft rock-n-roll. I have never heard them play a Prince song in their program.

It was a nice wake-up call.

I can't believe that I'm responding to this thread this morning...because today they played, "Jam of the year."

It's a great idea, I'm just surprised.
