Prince to Perform MJ Tribute? Dr. Funkenberry and MSNBC report that Prince is "in talks" with World Music awards to perform MJ tribute in October in Monaco.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/...nt-gossip/ "What will take place at the World Music Awards? Janet Jackson (who, it should be noted, is not to be lumped into Jermaine’s category — she’s been an example of pitch-perfect respect toward Michael and the situation as a whole) will not perform, but organizers expect she will accept an award on behalf of Michael, who was due to receive the award prior to his death. Also, Prince is in talks to do a tribute performance to Michael Jackson." Wouldn't surprise me, considering what I have been saying here about Prince being impacted by Michael's death.
Still, a tribute seems out of the ordinary 4 P. Hmmm... "He's a musician's musician..."

Still, a tribute seems out of the ordinary 4 P. Hmmm... but than again, doesn't prince always do the exact opposite of what his fans expect of him. admitting. a tribute performance to michael does seem very weird since he didn't do one for other people, except passing references in shows or a 30 second acoustic cover doodle. it would be interesting to see though. we all know he could pull it off musically and make it solid and respectfull. but why? that's what i'm wondering about. why at all? and why now? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
