There are loads of examples I could give - all of the above and more but for me 2 that really stand out are:
The end of purple rain when he sings the harmony's he just sounds like an angel and makes me sob every time I hear it (have had to stop listening to on the bus cos people think someone died) I hear your voice - tremendous emotion but great vocals too !!! | |

Gave me goosebumps! i was thinking that too when i saw the thread (tho damn you still edges it for me) however...when he sings really deep near the end, love it. and i love when i point it out to people who arent big fans, and they usually go 'thats prince still???' And from what P said about Montreux it sounds like we will have some favs from those shows too!!! The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

it's "beautiful ones" for me, always.
starting with "do you want him? or do you want me?" sheesh. amazing. really the whole track is amazing. the slow build, and then the angry climax (literally?), and the cool down as it all subsides... so glad he stuck this on the album instead of "electric intercourse." if you could just pass your history class, baby, life would be all right. | |

I liked when he performed "Gotta Broken Heart Again" on the live in Vegas DVD. He sounded as if he was in the situation at the time, really feeling the music and words. I like that version better than the original!! | |

When I hear Condition of the heart it always reminds me of a classical operatic trained voice. And at 0:23 and 0:40 of Sometimes it snows in April, his voice sounds so close to the instrument playing you can't tell where his voice is.
