Great interview. I miss the dayz of him and Mayte 2. I really wish things would have worked out with them. He was really, really in love and I liked that. Him chompin on a cracker in the middle of the interview....hilarious!!

I don't know about happy, maybe because of Mayte, but he also gave Tavis Smiley an interview during this same era with CK and LG and he was Pe-OD during almost the whole interview. He's always looked healthy to me.

i love him!!!!!this is the prince i miss, when he eats that cracker that is sooo freakin funny!!! notice how healthy he looks not all pale.thats cause mayte realley loved him and took care of him.that makes a huge diffrence love.not new girlfriends that he has now that just care about one thing FAME.mayte and him should have stayed toghter.

P looks so happy and at ease in this interview. We have all scene the interviews where he seems bored, iritated with the questions, or just pushing his message about the music industry. Nice to see him at peace, no games just genuine.

I recall so many interviews where P just seemed to be playing and sometimes even mocking the interviewer w/ outrageous comments- I'm sure a sign of his boredom w/ the questions, and sometimes, having to do w/ the mood he was in at time. It is evident the peace & happiness Mayte brought to Prince and it is really too bad things fell apart for them.
