"Do Me Baby" It never really did much for me. it's just a bit too over the top. I like the edited version better (something I almost never say) sans all the screaming at the end.
"La La La, Hee, Hee, Hee" I hate the lyrics and the barking dog sounds. "Moonbeam Levels" I actually just heard this one for the first time lately (and I've only heard it once) and was not impressed. Maybe I need to hear it more? | |

Take Me With U - Never understood why it was such a big ongoing concert staple. It's probably my least fav track on Purple Rain.
International Lover - It's DULL Condition of The Heart - Meh Purple Rain - It's just TOO damn long and overblown. Ultimate toilet break song in a concert - even if there's a long line you know you'll be back in your seat before the final guitar solo even starts | |

prince songs are often better live, but he rarely plays the complete song.
There are a lot of his songs I don't like maybe the highest acclaimed would be BLACK SWEAT. otherwise known as B.S. I automatically read it as bullshit small circles, big wheels!

Wow. Kiss and Purple Rain aren't gettin' much love. I do understand that Purple Rain has probably over-saturated Prince's fan-base. It's one of the only songs that he plays at almost every mainstream concert. I had to detox from it for a while, but it grew on me again.
Kiss on the other hand... I love the studio versions, but haven't heard a good live rendition. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

i think the songs i dislike have been overplayed. i could NEVER hear
1999, Kiss, Purple Rain, LRC and Raspberry Beret again and be quite fine. On the other hand songs that i've NEVER liked would include Delirious It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night (i probably haven't even heard that thing all the way thru), Movie Star (what's the fuss), Moonbeam Levels (may be my boot is just quite bad, but if the song is pretty much the same, OVER-RA-TED!), The Most Beautiful Girl in The World, Shhh (u gave it away already), that's all that come to mind right away | |
