I just watched Under The CHerry Moon for the first time

and it was so cute, I was so enamoured throughout the entire film that even now I am still aroused by seeing the playful, fun, romantic styles of Prince. I liked the black and white classy-ness to the film, and the overall rico suave smoothness.....Prince's piano playing was sexy, but when he started dancing on top of the piano- that is when this senorita LOST IT! I could go on and on,,, wink

I love the movie too! Glad you got to see it. I remember seeing it in the theater when it came out. I thought it was funny to hear everyone in the back of the theater shouting obscenities at Kristen Scott Thomas' character for getting Prince killed. I had never heard people so upset at a movie before. Come to think of it, I've never heard people shouting like that at a movie to this day.
All 4 fun and fun 4 all

I love to watch this movie more than Purple Rain simply because Prince is at his charming best. He is funny, coquettish and PERKY. batting eyes I like the message about being independent.

I saw the movie twice to a sold out theater in 1986. I loved it. The romantic b&w style and the gorgeous music. Even Kristen Scott Thomas was a gem.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie.

This movie is amazing! It's not a cinematic masterpiece, but it is FUN!! It's so funny! I love so many parts of that movie.

And I agree, Prince on the piano... HOT.

It's brilliant - so under-rated!!!

I love it.

Prince is cute and natural and GREAT comic timing!!

Apparently it's black and white because his suit was too bright.

He wears a gold suit and it's mentioned in the film so this couls be right!
Shut up already, damn.

It's B&W because it's meant to be like a comedy from the 30s/40s. Prince always wanted it B&W, but that's a cute reason you came up with. lol
