Avalanche I've listened to it a couple of times today and it really makes one think about so many things/injustices. The chorus about every snowflake and responsibility is just brilliant

Please can someone tell me where can i find it It's on One Nite Alone - Piano as a studio recording and One Nite Alone...Live! One Nite Alone...Live! is still available in stores. The One Nite Alone - Piano CD is out of print and sells at collectors prices. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

the vocals on this song are so good it's scary.
especially the second verse is just superb. the lyrics seem to bother some people but i like it when prince writes these type of lyrics. they're a lot more interesting than the umpteenth song like "mr goodnight". anyway, to go short: one of my fav songs from prince, not just since 2000 but since forever. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

brilliant? well..that's one way to look at it. I actually feel offended by that line. I guess I'm a snowflake.... "not a fan"

brilliant song!!! man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

If this song doesn'[t make you take a moment and thing about injustices, you missed the boat. I love when its just the man and his piano...Haunting yet serenely beautiful. Prince's Sarah

Apparently you can take it easy with the faces now. I realize it's a metaphor, do you understand the word "metaphor"? I do. "not a fan"

So...what...the snowflakes are responsible for the avalanche? Does he have any idea how an avalanche works?
If that's a metaphor...it's broken. Blaming snowflakes for not stopping the avalanche is just...stupid. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
