Which Prince albums do you play more during the summer.

MPLSound is proving to be a great summer album. Fresh and Funky.

I also find myself listening to Batman, Lovesexy, Parade, and Madhouse alot more in the summer

That's a good question.

I tend to play whichever the newest release is. So for me, of the 3 just released, it'll be 'LotusFlow3r', and in particular, one of my all-time fave singles, 'Colonised Mind'. I've played it so much, my 19 yr. old, Pop-Hop lovin' daughter knows the lyrix.

Parade is a warm day, sunroof open, winding two-lane road kind of album.

Parade or Lovesexy, both have great mood for summer..maybe even Emancipation.

didn't spin magazine give parade the "best summer album" award a few years ago?

I don't even pull it out to listen to it until the 1st really nice day of the year.

I pretty much put it in hibernation from October to April.

Any weather can be time for settling down with Prince music.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say Dirty Mind. The more I listen to it (especially recently), I just keep thinking it's a really great party album. And any party album deserves to be cranked up in the summer, whether it's at a BBQ or driving top-down.

Lovesexy is a very summer album!
The Hits 2 also reminds me of this time of year.
Prince (1979)
Lotusflow3r and MPLSOUND and Elixer will prob be this summer's anthem for me at least.
