Isn't it about time a decent Prince guitar TAB book was published?

Why is it only rock and metal artists that get decent guitar TAB books published? It's not as if there is no demand for this.... so many Prince fans are fellow musicians and would lap up a book on his guitar playing.

Maybe we should come up with one ourselves... what do you think??

Heck yeah! I am with you. There should be a Prince Tab book out somewhere. The last one I got was the Prince Greatest Hits book, and that was for piano and I think it had tabs in it...I gotta find my copy. But there should be a most recent copy of tab books for Prince songs.

As far as I'm aware, the only Prince guitar tab book was Purple Rain The Complete Scores. And that was highly inaccuarate and difficult to read.

They wouldn't need his approval for the old stuff.

I have the Purple Rain off the record book-and I think the tab is spot on. I actually spent ages programming everything note for note on Lets Go Crazy and Purple rain-brums bass-everything. I have alot of equipment so spent even longer getting the sounds as near perfect as poss-and now I have 100 percent the best backing trackks for them two tracks ive ever heard-in fact Purple rain without the guitar-the beautiful piano lines ans strings-is gorgeous on its own-and the synths in Lets go crazy-man I love em'. There are actually alot of tabs out there if you look. I have another book by warner chappel-the best of prince-its not tab-but from that I learnt Mountains, never take the place, take me with you, another lover, little red corvette-and I know the cross so I incorporated em all into a really nice acoustic medley-which always goes down very well. So you dont have to learm em' lick for lick. Its probably more important to get the vibe of the song-and add your own thing

There is the Planet Earth tab/chord piano/guitar etc book, the musicology one, the 3121 one the purple rain one the 1999 one. So i would not say there is not enough, Usually takes a year after release of the album that it comes. It will come just wait a little
