March Madness: THE FINAL FOUR

First, the Elite 8 Results:

Mountains 13-2 over 7
Little Red Corvette 10-5 over Forever in My Life
She's Always In My Hair 11-4 over Automatic
The Beautiful Ones 9-6 over When Doves Cry

So, here we are, in this little rented room...er...at the Final Four. A note on how our four survivors have done thus far:

Mountains (#1 seed, Bracket #1):
11-5 over The Question of U
10-1 over Papa
5-4 over Purple Rain
13-2 over 7
TOTAL VOTES: 39-12

Little Red Corvette (#4 seed, Bracket #2):
12-1 over Guitar
7-4 over The Cross
7-2 over Anotherloverholenyohead
10-5 over Forever In My Life
TOTAL VOTES: 36-12

She's Always In My Hair (#16 seed, Bracket #3):
11-2 over Soft and Wet
7-4 over D.M.S.R.
7-2 over Head
11-4 over Automatic
TOTAL VOTES: 36-12

The Beautiful Ones (#1 seed, Bracket #4):
13-0 over I'm Yours
9-2 over My Name is Prince
8-1 over Let's Work
9-6 over When Doves Cry
TOTAL VOTES: 39-9

Two #1's, a #4, and a #16 (!). Two spectacular pop tracks facing off, and in the other bracket, a scathing guitar riff against a show-stopping, soulful piano ballad.

THE BEAUTIFUL ONES

A #16 never wins in the tournament, let alone making a FINAL FOUR appearance.

#4 Little Red Corvette is a surprise but had an easier route to the Final Four than the others.

She's Always In My Hair had the easiest route but for a song that barely made it in, it's a great showing.

Mountains the overall #1 currently struggling but it should not lose to LRC. Come one . . .
