I'd agree with you, but it's 2009 where the best selling album can't even shift 3 million copies in the US, so somebody like Prince, who's not played by radio has to offer 3 CDs for the price of one otherwise it would go unnoticed by the general public.

i totally get what ur saying and i agree she should have been doing some of his shows as a opening act 2 get the juice flowing ..which is what he did with tamar man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Vanity 6 Apollonia 6 The Time The Family Madhouse All were Prince albums with other people's vocals. true enough, though i think it got to be less that way into the late 80s, when other people were brought in to work on paisley park albums. i thought tamar's album was a return to prince really putting himself into a protege project, and from what i've heard of bria's album, it's going to have his presence all over it.

Dave1992 said: Anxiety said: i'm interested in the bria album, mostly because the bits of it i've heard have prince stamped all over it. vocals, guitar, melodies. sure, i'd rather he were singing the songs than her, but i like what i've heard so far, and so for the sake of enjoying prince's musicianship and songwriting, i'm looking forward to checking it out. it's not on the top of my list, but i'll gladly listen to it. Co-sign Yeah thats how i feel. You cant beat the 11.98 price for 3 cds.... Genious business move.....each album sold will amount to triple numbers on the billboard charts. I will buy everything Prince puts out, in stores or online cause i love my Princey.....If Bria's album turns out to be good as a whole (production quality, music, lyrics, vocals) ill give props to Prince for seeing a project all the way through. Im so ready for some really good new music, I havent been this excited about buying a cd in a long time..gotta say thanx for making it so affordable. I hope people buy and show support for that. Cuzzin'... when Spooky say dead, u better say died.

Yes, I do LIVE in Europe. I saw about 18 shows at the O2 and/or Indigo. But this is not concert-love, this is album-love. So you must have had at least a dozen copies of Planet Earth for free? We got the album love too! Now it's the turn of our American cousins. I'm sure we'll be able to get hold of it easily enough. RIP

I always knew where to find a copy, it's just having over 10 copies of the paper case one, now I feel it's a bit of a waste to pay full price for a plastic case. It would make my Prince CD tower look more tidy though. If it ever went for £4 I'd snap it up.

i totally get what ur saying and i agree she should have been doing some of his shows as a opening act 2 get the juice flowing ..which is what he did with tamar Not interested at all in seeing Bria do what he did with Tamar! No thanks. Sorry but I wanna see Prince live, Tamar was not that exciting for me to see, if Tamar/ Bria did one or two songs and Prince was the main focus, thats cool, but I dont like being force fed artists i dont know. Lets say Brias album is bad, who would want to see a whole show live much less be forced to! Lets say Brias album is good then let the public digest it a while first, get to know the songs and let curiousity build to make people want to find out more about her with a proper marketing plan. You cant jump the gun. Makes for a more interesting artist fan relationship. Beyonce is force feeding us now, i cant stand that. Take a break you dont need to put all your cards on the table, the flame burns out fast! Prince is evasive, he knows how to keep people wanting more. Thats why hes had a 30 year career and still going strong. Prince still should take a break soon.

You would be happier about this if each cd sold for $11.99? You would be happier if you paid $23.98 total for the 2 Prince cds & not be force fed the Bria cd? Cause I don't get it. Some fans are never happy. Selling it as a bundle keeps the cost down which he is passing on. I could care less about radio play or singles. As a longtime Prince fan this whole 3 cd deal is great. I would be buying all three no matter what so the $11.99 for all three is fantastic. $11.99 for just the 2 Prince cds alone is great. I don't get your complaining!

I don't get the moans either. I see it as $12 for two Prince CD's with something I may or may not enjoy along for the ride. No harm done really. RIP

I live in Ireland so i'm not sure what's happening here.
But this is really cool of Prince, and as usual some fans still find reasons to complain.

I'm looking at the packaging for the cd...looks like the 3 in the lotusflower is meant to imply the 3 cd set. The album cover will just be the original artwork found on the lotus website..no doubt about the 3 for $11.98...and before you ask I'm not on the inside of Prince's business affairs just looking at some internal stuff circulating at the bullseye. 1 over Jordan...the greatest since
