The Dr. Funkenberry site is obviously nothing more than a laughable propaganda wing for Prince and his fams. I love how they dress it up with other celebrity info as if that's going to fool anyone beyond a handful of drooling fambots. The site is as cheesy and poorly written as the old 3121 blog postings. Yeh, there is nothing I like more than a good long wait. I sometimes let people in front of me in lines, just because I so enjoy standing about wanting to do something, but not actually being able to do it. Sorry, but you cant blame better technology that negates the need to wait. Based on Prince fans anxiously awaiting a new album, which is nothing but unsurprising. When the website was "opened". There was no mention of the fact it would open in stages. Right or wrong it gave the impression that when the website "opened" people could buy the new album. There were a few posts on DR FB saying that it would be very soon after the new year etc. For a few people (myself included) it just kind of feels like since January, the album(s) have been pushed back each month onwards. This probably isnt the case. More likely that its always been part of the marketing. But still... | |

i know that would suck for prince and all but i would split my sides I doubt that he finalized any track list for either of his CDs for this reason. I'm sure that only a few people in his camp know all of what is on the real tracklist. You're talking about someone who can record a song everyday. I doubt that half of what he's put out there will be on the CDs: Crimson and Clover Colonized Bria's song. Any of the MLPSound tracks could be shifted, re-recorded, edited, or decoys. I feel this way because they are mostly stuio tracks without the band. It's him in a studio with th LM-1 Linndrum, this Pro Tools, and other instruments.
