If you're talking about Prince's versions of those songs, then yes, I do hear a similarity. They're both performed by the same guy.

They are similar in that they are both pretty lame covers.

Why cover a song at all if you're going to change the words? It's stupid.

Joan Jett did a hell of a cover then Prince does and Joan Jett did the cover BEFORE Prince did it She did a killer job of it it ROCKED Princes version IMHO SUCKED with a capital S.

Just my 2 cents.
