If the song, "Good Love," is lighter than a feather,more like a soda bubble, and the song, "Family Name," has a heavy bewilderment attached 2 it's historical concept... Name a Prince song and give the song a hypothetical weight as it sits gently or strongly on your spirit as U listen 2 it. The song, "Strollin'," has such a sweet melody, I think of a white cloud on a sky blue day. The song, "Thunder," is I imagine a touch frightening 4 those that haven't yet made peace with their maker. I agree that "Colonized Mind," is heavy...yet not as heavy as people that don't care about cause and effect.
If Jesus holds the weight of the world on his shoulders...and we look at Jesus and say that is the avenue that Atlas walked....and as every person carries their share of understanding that they were given their load 2 bear...they seem lighter than bearing the responsibility 4 all those downloads...and repercussions. Leaning on our brother and eachother makes the weight of history and the personal weight of living responsibly lighter. Depends on the song...they usually take a while on my "scale" to figure out how "heavy" they are....ultimately the best ones give you a lasting impression one that you carry with you..... ~ Eye would never turn my back on your love~ | |
