Started a thread about Prince songs that he does live that I prefer over their studio counterpart and it got me thinking about songs Prince performs that are always great live and soem songs I;d ish he'd stop performing live cause I never like it live?

For me:

Always Good - Soft and Wet, When U were Mine, I wanna be your lover, Dirty Mind, Head, Purple Rain, Take me With You, How come U don't call me anymore, Starfish and Coffee, Sexy MF, Nothing Compares 2 U, Musicology (not the biggest fan of this song, but he always jams this live)

Always Bad - Controversy, Do Me, Baby, 1999, Let's Go Crazy, When Doves Cry (other than the Miles to Nowhere and 1989 Westfallen, never liked this performed live), Kiss (his live version leaves a lot to be desired), Adore( until ONA never heard a really great live version of this), Cream.

Thoughts and your opinions.

favorites would b days of wild, kiss from the sign o the times tour since they kick the shit out the versions done by the revolution, when doves cry and controversy is funky!!

WDC and Kiss are never that great live. Though, I did enjoy the 2004 Musicology tour version of Kiss. The JB flavor kicked it up a notch.

Other than those 2, none of the others disappoint me. Some of my favs are IIWYG, Do Me, Baby and DMSR.
