Bruce Springsteen has been a big vocal supporter for Obama, taking every opotunity to play at Obama events. He has spent his whole life advocating worthy cause working for the working man.
Springsteen should play, and get a little recognition for his selfless giving.

Prince, i love his music, but fuck him he's ignorant

Couldn't agree more. I played The Rising a few times the other day along with Leonard Cohen's Democracy.

Well done to those of you on here who voted for Obama. Speaking from the UK it gives us more faith in Americans.

Most of us had been too lazy to vote, it was the ederly, wingnuts and religious fanatics that were deciding our elections. They always got out there, and mobilized.(and they are a scary bunch, the elderly mostly)

It took the near destruction of America to get people off their ass and vote.

Other wingnuts like Prince were telling people voting didnt matter,..... ahhhhh democracy. got to love it!

President Obama gave an interview to KISS-FM in NYC a few weeks ago. One of the questions posed was: Whose music would you choose: Prince or Michael Jackson? He chuckled and asked which era of Michael Jackson. After a pause, he said Michael Jackson with the Afro.

Speaking of Coldplay, love the band's music. But what was up with that performance of Viva La Loca on SNL? The music sounded as canned as sardines. Embarassing. The vocals were live though. I thought SNL was a live show.
