He *did* say "light us up and take a hit" on the Gold Experience referring to him and his band's music being like a drug.

But you strike me more as a shoot-em up in the arm Meth or Heroin user than a casual smoker of sorts. razz

He is addictive nod

He's like the equalivent of heroin where you have to increase the dosage in order to get the same high.
Sometimes when I have days where I listen to him a lot or see a lot of footage of him, the next couple of days are rough because I can't get that same high back without overdoing it again lol
had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Thing is I don't know if I can AFFORD to stay away lol
The last time I went a day or two without listening to him was May of 2007. I heard "Kiss" on the radio when my mom and I were coming back from seeing Spider-man 3... shoot, it took a while to register that it was Prince.

I just knew that I didn't want to not recognize his voice or it feels like listen to his music. I'm sure I'd listened to him nearly every day for a little over a year now. Maybe come new year's, I'll try to cut myself off and go cold turkey.
falloff that should be interesting

Definitely! Since seeing him September last year I have nothing but prince on my mp3 player so I can take him everywhere I go. Walking the dog, going to and from work, shopping, housework, hanging out the washing. He makes all the everyday mundane stuff much easier to do!
I know I hold you too tight, but I just can't seem to get close enough

Quit jacking my thread now... mad

If you must know I have NEVER done drugs, I live a very clean lifestyle (some may say pure). I also don't associate with people who do drugs.

cool Don't stalkers actually "stalk" the person? Intrude on thier life? We are just enjoying what Prince has allowed us to share. I, personally, am greatful that I have eyes (for his beauty) and ears (hear the music) and a brain to process his emmense talent. I have a cd (bought and paid for) near every player I own so I can hear him whenever I desire. Which, like most of you, is always. He is a gift I never intend to tire of. wink
