Really both his wives cheated on him???? Dang!! I take cheating as retaliation, resentment, displaced anger, and loneliness.....and a false sense of thinking that if you can be married to Prince you can get anyone else you want.
If he was cheating on them??? Well, that would hurt so much that I could see them loosing it and doing something that stupid. I really just don't think he's found the right girl yet... because even if he was cheating.... why not just take a walk??? Prince is a perfectionist and that's nice to be fussed over for awhile but after awhile I'm pretty sure you just don't feel you ever measure up to his standards.... and that can hurt. He's probably thinking he's doing them a favor... instead he's sending the message that she's really not the girl he wants.
No spouse should be a "project". That's looking at her as a charity case.
Who knows if he ever marries again... He'll figure it out if he wants to... He's really the "project" in a relationship.... in a team effort kinda way. I just think that he's confused with the "bringing out the best in the one you love" thing. In that song reverse the lyrics and listen as if he's the girl and he's the Cinderella.... usually people tend to project themselves onto people they are describing. Bending in the wind and not breaking is probably more about him....
His life and a marriage is a lot to handle the way he looks at it... and it should strengthen both people involved.....maybe he tests his partners...what you look for you find and create. Maybe he's really jealous out of insecurity.
Probably a little bit of a combination of all of this stuff.... I've never been married... I have no idea what it's like.... Every man in my life sooner or later wanders off to someone and it just takes a question or two to bust em without their knowledge. But they never want to leave??? It's when I'm leaving the relationship that I get all the proposals and they always sooner or later come back saying they figured it all out and want to try again. I truly believe that two people can live together forever without straying or fighting or being hatefull.
I've just never seen it in anyone or any couple yet....Until then it's me and my pup.

It may be true that some of us would love to have been famous singers or Actors, although there are people like me that would just love to be around music. I really never had a desire to be a performer. I have always been a writer. For me, that is a quiet peace that brings me enough spiritually to say that I am blessed to have a poetry talent. I do write other materials, and I would like to go somewhere with those things, however...I still wait on those oportunities. I respect cartoonists as a part of a group of people that I admire as creative people. I respect all occupations, truly...sometimes we just focus on some things more than others because we are pulled in that direction.

Prince can write a song at the same time I am tampering with stained glass...or fiddling with some other project that grabs my attention. I believe that is the kind of relationship Prince could enjoy having. Every day is a new day. If I could Rule the world, I'd give it my best shot. I care.

I can believe that if Prince could get over a thin layer of cellulite that grew on me because I kept myself at home...We've got it made...If I have to look like his x-wives...it's over.
