Not doing the whole thing, but here's how I interpret some of it. What I find most interesting is Prince's use of 'heart' as a metaphor for various frailties and vulnerabilities he has physically.

I guess Prince is talking about some spiritual resolution? An end to all the suffering and lifelong toil? I thought that was what Heaven was all about.

One has to wonder what happens next if the world ends and we all go floating about on clouds happy as Larry. Where would the passion and excitement come from with no risk or fear? It's not something I care to imagine really. It's life's hardships that cause us to value the good things.

How can there be resolution if people continue to make the same mistakes over and over again? War doesn't resolve anything. The message is loud and clear: LOVE is the key to any kind of resolution. Prince seems to be one of the few people who gets it. He has been repeating this message in many of his songs.That's why I love and respect Prince so much.
I've said it before in one of my previous posts and I say it again: Prince is the essence of LOVE, no matter how many mistakes he made or will make throughout his life. Prince knows that Love is the answer.
If we only could truely love one another, we could live in the paradise we were meant to live in.
Love is not a feeling, love is the power that drives us all. Love is the most powerful force, whether we are aware of it or not. Some of us are just too numb to realise that. Instead of connecting with our higher power, we created a world of violence,hate,greed,overindulgence and mindless sex. We seem to be utterly unaware that we will destroy ourselves with our selfishness.
While it is sad to see so many people without substance on the path of destruction, I am not too worried.
I know that in the end LOVE will win because GOD IS LOVE and Love has no beginning and no end!!!
