While in P & R and thinking of a post topic, thought about a line from The Marrying Kind.
So now I'm listening to 'Musicology.' Prince's most mature album.

I think it's a subliminal message that Prince probably carried in other songs knowing they would be in the home of a good woman...Prince didn't want the girl to be hurt, because in his eyes she should be respected as the marrying kind.
