No a regular reader and I searched purple rain+vinyl+remaster and several combos without success (hell, nothing even comes up with just "purple rain" but search engines and I never have gotten along. For those of us getting back into vinyl after a near 20 yr 'CD distraction', and a new generation discovering vinyl now, it's great they are releasing classic albums again. My original copy of purple rain doesn't look so good after my teen years and probably hundreds of spins with a cheap stylus followed by poor storage and probably 15 moves since then. A fresh remastered copy with the occasional listen should last the rest of my days. Too bad 1999 isn't on the list. | |

You better care! Purple Rain is the most important song in 50 years! It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
