Baby Knows versus Lolita Just wanted to get this off my chest. Which one you like better? Me, I can't stand either of them!

Lolita. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Lolita
I mean, it sounds a little like studio plastic and it's better live like many of the 3121 tracks... but "Baby Knows," I don't get into very much... Sheryl Crow had a little too much influence my favorite part is when he says "and perfume... smell like the weekend..." just his voice gets a smile out of me... but other than that, I'm not too crazy about it. The chorus's lyrics are WEAK not that "Lolita" is one to talk in that area either. If I fit the bill, id be a helluva Lolita had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Not a real fan of either.
I always hated BK on the CD but live was ok. Lolita on CD is good but live nah. I just can't believe all the things people say !

Lolita sounds like a Time reject from back in the day.
Baby Knows... hmmm, I like the harmonica but that's the only good thing I can bring myself to say about that track.

well I guess I'm the only one who enjoys baby knows whilst whizzing about on my scooter then! Prince isn't a star- he's an event. NME Paolo Hewitt.

Like both, but love Lolita. It's great fun.
And like the way he reclaimed ownership of the 'fellas n girls' thing he started years ago (from Justin 'every thing I do sounds like a rehash of something else' Timberlake). Lolita wins for me.

I like the vocals on Baby knows better.
But I'm a sucker for the phat synths on Lolita so tie. Both songs are meh compared to what he CAN do, but still likeable.

Lolita
If U were mine we bump, bump, bump Baby Knows sucks...he sounds like a old white lady...the whole album sucks...my boy (who really doesn't know much about Prince) was looking at the disc and said "This album isn't that good is it?" I asked him why? He said "Just looking at the cover it looks bad." He was correct...the album, the packaging and Larry G. all up in the mix was bad.... Prime aka The Kid
"I need u to dance, I need u to strip I need u to shake Ur lil' ass n hips I need u to grind like Ur working for tips And give me what I need while we listen to PRINCE"
