Why do u think Prince has not released any of his recent concerts on DVD?

I've always been amazed that Lovesexy tour videos haven't been re-released on DVD. I had to make my own DVDs from my old VHSs before they wore out!

I sure wish he'd sell DVDs of his concerts. Especially the two my daughter got onstage with him.

DVD's of past concerts and Remasters of old releases MAY be a part of his retirement plan (a way to bring money in when he decides to stop touring). In the meantime, Prince seems to be moving in a forward direction - toward new material and projects. It does not upset me that Prince does not broadcast his every next move. I'm much too busy trying to figure mine out. Whatever Prince releases, and whenever he chooses to do so, is right on time with me.

Mayb he feelz like his fans don't appreciate the music enough.Just look at how most of u guyz complain about the Rave and ONA dvds.I wouldn't release anything else either.

Speculation? It's a question about "why" u think Prince has not released this material.

Simple... he doesn't want to (or feel the need to).

When it comes to his own past, he has zero interest. He's only interested in
what the next project will be and really doesn't want to waste his time (as he
sees it) sorting out or revisiting what he's already done.

I don't think Prince owes his "fans" anything....but I think he owes the music loving world at least a remastering of his 1978-1999 material.

an idea more than a week or two old is too far in the past for him
y'know, i can understand him not wanting to "waste" his time
but at least hand over the job to someone who cares
