Boy, it sure doesn't take long for that 98% to rear it's ugly f-ing head in here does it? I could waste a lot of time and energy going back and forth, but why bother? That's the main problem on the Org. People don't even bother to READ people's thoughts or opinions. All that's required is the PERCEPTION of a diss of Prince, and the claws come out. I'm not going to re-write what i already wrote, and point out your obvious errors. So therefore, i've been listening to Prince longer than some of you have been alive. Also, factoring in age, over the years i've spent probably thousands of dollars on Prince music/tickets. I don't care what albums other fans like or what is the "golden era" or whatever.
I like what I like, so that is what I will listen to. End of. I always seem to fall in love with the albums that other fans of the same bands think are the weaker ones - just typical! I am happy that even with the same bands, taste varies amongst fans - No harm in that. For me, Lovesexy, Symbol and Gold Experience are my faves but that's not to say he "hasn't done anything good since..."
