41 baby!!!!
I became a Prince fan in 1982. In those days, where I lived, we didn't have cable - so no MTV yet for us. There was show on at like 1am on Friday nights called "Friday Night Videos" and they played the Little Red Corvette video one night and I was hooked. I first saw Prince live at Nassau Coliseum on March 23, 1985 (The Purple Rain Tour). I still have my ticket stub. | |

I lucked out. So, yep, glad I'm the age I am cause I have been able to see literally hundreds (with all the Paisley Park shows) of Prince performances over the years.
You're quite lucky! How cool is that to get to go to First Avenue...the place where Prince got his start...wow!  Yes. It was great to see him there a number of times from 82 through 87 or so and then again FINALLY in 2007! Cool. | |

It's okay. I just become one this year back in Februrary and its really no big deal. That's pretty cool that you're into Prince at that age. When I was 16, I think I was still into pop stars. I didnt know who Prince was until a couple of years later. Being a late bloomer does have its advantages, though  so keep ur chin up.had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
