PLANET EARTH on Best of 2007 lists?

Has anybody seen Planet Earth on any Best of 2007 lists? I'm wondering if it will make any.

Honorable mention:

You don't think it deserves a mention for best of 07?

Best what? Exhibition of lyrical mediocrity by a once-great writer?
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

mark ronson's "version" comes to mind. it may not be the best album of 2007, but it was leagues better than planet arf.

Have seen a few lists and no sign of Planet Earth - am not at all surprised, but most reviews of the year feature Prince's 'return' and his 21 Nights at the O2 - not surprised by that either.

i think he had a stellar year as a live performer. not so much that he knocked out legendary performances from an artistic standpoint, but i think he achieved a whole lot and had a lot of success from a very unconventional approach.

Once again, maybe it could have been, but failed to get the right kind of promotion that might have put some of the better singles in peoples' ears.

It was one of my favorites, but I bought very few new albums this year smile

we're talking about the same album, right? cuz there's no writing on the cover, it's easy to get it confused.

I have been saying this all along. If the cd had been promoted it might have sold well. It is not the worst CD he has made. I say Rave and C&D still hold those titles.

I did not buy a lot of new music this year because I think a lot of stuff just plain sucks. I do not think P is doing anything worst than a lot of other artist.

What Prince really deserves to be recognized for in 2007 is that brilliant Super Bowl performance (which he is, by the way, in the new issue of New York magazine).

It's number 61 on Paste's list:

It's the only list he has appeared on so far, though.
