kind of what i expected the october 28 thing to be.finally.good to see a new video anyway.not great but i kinda like it.the song is mindless fun.it might catch on a bit but i doubt it.on a side note.i know prince is tryna be cool but is it just me or does he look a bit depressed and uninterested in the video.the sittin down thing was cool at first but when he gets up he doesn't do anything.just an alright video is better than nothing.i guess.

The video reminds me of some old Georges Michael one.. I wonder what the JW society will think of this the brunette with sunglasses sitting next to him is gorgeous!

Just a thought. Could the song "Chelsea Rodgers" actually be about Rashida Jones (Dj Rashida)? She have been a clothing model and when the party's fly - she might be there spinning...and in the song it doesn't say anything about her being a designer? I sometimes think she reminds about a "Gypsy woman" and there is something called (a bottle of) "Gypsy Tears" for medical treatment, I think. The Gypsy's return in "Lion Of Judah" aswell...

It does not compute when it comes to the new T-shirts though, but there are even more things that doese'nt compute with Chelsea Rodgers (not even her real name, it seems...)

Btw, I'm not a big fan of the song (with the lyrics and Shelby as exception) but the video is nice. Matthew Williams collection is interesting, so it's good that 3121.com put a link to his site there

I wonder where the next tour will be? Asia? Australia? The States?

Just looks like typical Princely mischief to me. The women directly behind Prince seem totally unaware that he is singing live and are watching the band.

I think he intended that - so hes singing into the mike kinda undercover and then stand up, they all realise he is actually performing live as well - well planned and he pulls it off. of course the people directly opposite would be able to see him singing.

as for chelsea rodgers the 'to whom it may concern' post on the 3121 blog already told us she was a teeshirt designer. I'm guessing he has met her thru church as thats what the song lyrics are about: stored her tears up in a bottle (drinker) and poured them out to save hr sole (witnessing)

Im still not sure why she has a whole site dedicted to her unless she is his new girlfriend which might explain his return to so many love songs on one album. Is she who mr goodnight is about?

Hopefully Prince is reading this comments about his new video and is taking notes. Prince, you need to rework this video, as some others have suggested. This has got to be one of your worst videos ever.

I liked the video and didn't have a hard time understanding it. I expecially liked that the person singing most of the lead & the hook (Shelby) was given a lot of camera time. And Marva got a couple of good shots too.

The only thing I didn't care for were the ultra boney, generic looking real models that happened to be used at the the actual fashion show.

Btw - does anybody know who the designer was that was showcased?

One thing is for certain when you listen to Prince music or watch his videos -- Prince may have talent, but his ability to create music or put on a good performance is long, long, long gone.
