Dont get me wrong, im the biggest prince fan ever, i just feel that when i go to his concerts i get let down ! Fair play to the man for still playing when he is 50 ish ! but the hits he plays are never really the true hits you remember but just remix's and watered down versions of the actual full lenght song from the album !

Im sure you agree with me... when he plays the the first few beats at the beggining of sign of the times....everybody goes mental and then he just cuts it off and starts another song only to do the same ! VERY IRRITATING ! if he hes gonna start a song then finish it all the way through !

Im refferring to my recent experience at the 02 in london, i did enjoy it but id rather listen to less songs but all the way through ! I dont image we will see much more of prince now hes gettin on a bit so i really wanted to listen to the true master at work ![b]

Well as The 02 was my first prince live show, i was just greatful i got 2 see him at another peak in his amazing journey, the music was just amazing, playin some of my favourite music of all time, just mouth dropping!!

Im so thankful for seeing the aftershow parties, all i need to say about this is "21st - all the critics love u in new york/london" WOW!!

He played 21 nites in one spot, one nite he might be feeling "kiss" the next night maybe not as much, dude this guy has an amazing collection of music, some days he might wanna mellow out on us, what ever he plays, he masters

Sorry to ramble, but I have never felt disappointed with a Prince concert- if I wanted to hear the same old thing every night i'd go see Britney lip-synch!!

I went to see him 9 times at the O2 and not once did I feel dissappointed, everytime I came out of there thinking WOW - how does he do it? How does he give it 110% - always sounding and looking great and knowing exactly how to tease the audience.

There were songs that I wanted him to play all the way through, but then he would move on to another song and I would think- oh yeah lets have some of that too. Like the man says he has too many hits.

There were also some new versions of old songs that wiped the floor with the original "hit" version... I was lovin these

I suspect you may have been one of the "fams" who started booing when Prince didn't play what you wanted.... (a true fam would know that this really is a big No No to do)

I loved the O2- Prince and the NPG rocked, and as he only gets to the UK every now and then, if he has to shorten songs so that we get as many as we can, then so be it!

Well, this is merely my humble opinion, but you can scwabble over whether he does the full version songs are not but he STILL is the best live performer by far - and I have to say I saw a few over the past few months - nothing comes close or compares to a Prince concert. The End!!!
