Slave to the rhythm

The wife bow came back from the 2nd hand market today with a copy of slave to the rhythm,bought for the costly sum of £1.How do u rate this book?,only other prince book i read was imp of the perverse.I am not a reader,i only look at the pictures in a paper,but i'm gonna try and trek my way through the book.

I have that but it's along time since I read it, prob about 10 years. From what I remember it wasn't an easy read but it was pretty informative...but then again it was a long time. Be interested to hear what you think of it, might give it another go.

It's an interesting slant on the Prince story. Written by a huge fan, who managed to get some original material to go into the book, massaged some old material to look new... didn't bother proofreading/checking the first version of the text and who recently admitted this was nothing more than a hagiography.

That said... it's better than manny and worse than some. It has a more personal feel to it that the Uptown releases... and Liz Jones is a funny writer.

I'd read it. Like it. Forget it. ... then go listen to some Prince... to remind you of what a good man he is.

I still get annoyed about the whole 'ATWIAD' sham.

It's far superior to that shit, Thieves in the Temple. Not bad for quid!!
