Top 5 Bootleg tracks

Thought it would be fun to see what everybody's favourite bootleg tracks are this week. I only recentley discovered "All my Dreams" which is now my favourite bootleg track, infact one of my favourite Prince tracks ever, why he did'nt release it puzzles me! Anyway, I'll start...

1.All my dreams
2.A place in Heaven
3.In a large room with no light
4.Moonbeam levels
5.Crystal Ball
"Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

i just listened to, all my dreams, a great song!!!!!
but not my favourite:
all i got is 2 cigerettes and this lonely heart o mine! (17days)
all my dreams has a girls voice on it sounds a bit like the why the girl talks on computer blue, and its got "the voice" from 1999 again hes used that a coupla times, it could easily be from musicology but its quite old from the dream factory..... funky

1. '17 Days' is an officially released track, which was originally the B-side of 'When Doves Cry'

2. It's older than 'Dream Factory'. It featured on the original configuration of 'Parade' in 1985, over a year earlier.

1. Xtra Loveable
Incredible, incredible, incredible. I sing along with the "ooh oooh" parts at the end in the shower. The beat is too funky. It's just too sick. Honey you got something that would make a many hippie mighty proud.....

2. We Can Funk (1986 Revolution version)
Pounding drums, killer sax, awesome vocals.....100 million times better than the GB version.

3. Electric Intercourse

Absolutely beautiful. This should have been on Purple Rain. I actually prefer it to The Beautiful Ones, most of the time. I definately play it a lot more. Electric is my body, baby, I'll shock you with my lips...

4. Wonderful Ass
What can I say....if you haven't heard this...you are missing out. One of the best Revolution cuts there is.....you've got a wonderful ass...... Pure funk groove. Love Wendy & Lisa's backing vocals on this as well....

5. Do Yourself A Favor

8 and a half minutes of KILLER. Too funky.

----Other notable tracks that could have made the Top 5----

Rebirth Of The Flesh
Crucial (unreleased version)
In A Large Room With No Light
Dance With The Devil
Others Here With Us

All My Dreams – unreleased 1985 Dream Factory track

All My Dreams was recorded on 28 April 1985 and featured as the final track on an early configuration of Parade (1 May 1985), the project having begun a couple of weeks before.

The song was dropped from the tracklisting before the official release on 31 March 1986. The Dream Factory project commenced a couple of weeks before 'Parade's' 1986 release (albeit that the song 'Dream Factory' itself had been recorded in late 1985.

'All My Dreams' featured on later configurations of the album (June and July 1986) - again as the album closer - defore the project was dropped.

It was on Jesse's album Shockadelica, but I thought Prince wrote it, but I could be wrong.

This is damn near impossible, but...in no particular order:

Something In the Water (piano version)
Moonbeam Levels
Rebirth of the Flesh (that song is three funky)
Just My Imagination (Small Club)
Electric Intercourse (8/3/83)
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I think it was written by Pepe Willie as "If You See Me." And it was covered by both Prince and Jessie.

Hi - Yes, very different indeed. It's laid back and very relaxed.

I'm not sure when it was recorded, but it sounds like a pre studio pre finished version. It's only one verse and one chorus. It is just him and a guitar and he's strumming basic cords. It's really cool
