LOL I'm not a journalist. This information was in some article that my friend read. He gave the information to me because I was curious about the song too. It is the first Prince song I ever heard (thus this nick) and it holds special meaning to me, in that after I heard it and due to circumstances at that time, it was the start of my own discovery of freedom and what it means.

I read in one of those older bio books that he was riding around with Lisa one night. Not sure what kind of car she had. (Maybe a little red corvette?) He dozed off, and when he woke up, he had this song.

I don't like to dig too deep into songs being about personal situations. But I do remember reading this in some Prince bio years back.

The song could have been about Lisa, but then again it could have just been that he was riding around in her little red corvette and that sparked the mediphor, and thinking of someone else all together. Anywho, the song is deffinately about a "fast" girl and he is singing to her that it would be so much better if she "did it" within a relationship of deeper meaning rather than a casual encounter.

One of those love vs. sex songs.

I think that was the first song that showed his dancing skills were being worked on.

He had that bridge dance down pat.

Listen you can Read Jon Bream's Books,Stephen Ivory, DMSR, Nelson George Tends to know alot but Until Prince himself writes a book or decides to have a ghost writer and of course alot can be for Publicity and the Image and all. Until Prince Decides to Tell Us the Truth which he won't I'm sure. We can only Speculate and continue to go crazy over him. Which Is Precisely What he wants us 2 Do! Whatever he has created and it took alot well he Definitely Isn't Going to Shatter it. It's o.k. though cause I already know . He's Hot Stuff. I just Wish he would Play. I would never in any way want him to feel Uncomfortable or think I am Only interested in Sex. No,his music has always been what I've enjoyed and been Attracted by. The Feeling it Pervays in a person is very Special. And so is He. He is Special and Held in all of our Hearts as fans. All fans are Significant. Everybody Uniquely Different and Entitled to their Own Thought Processes and Ideals as such. We are all Special now aren't We?

But I wish he would Understand that sometimes things are just not Feasible. The Economy is much Different in Europe. It is Also More Open. We as Americans have Issues Unfortunately.

That is not my opinion on Madonnas biggest supporters . Take a music survey and not on this website. This is a Prince fansite not a Madonna Fansite. I also notice tons of criticism against myself which I find quite Bias. Many people know me here but seem to not really Know a thing and they are Biased due to past events which should be clarified. When a lot of times they just don't know facts themselves. Listen,stuff happens in life does that mean we should carry Grudges ? Does that mean others will have a Hard-On so to Speak Forever? Come-On. Damn It! You Don't Know Me! Lots of fans here who I do Know well they knew me from the 90's . I am Different Myself. AndI will Continue to Change.
