...Just when you thought it was over...
Good pairing in a deathmatch (Mad and Funky Design). These songs have ALWAYS been paired together. On all unreleased sets, they're together (either Sonny or Prince on vocals) - then they were released together in the first month of NPGMC. [Incidentally, I always felt the Studio 54 show from May '99 was very similar in 'format' to the second Emporium show from March '95 - a Family Stone set vs. The Undertaker set; unreleased material mixed with released, rarities, a very loose feeling etc. While the Emporium show ended with a jam incorporating Madhouse's 11 and Funky Design, the Studio 54 show included a Madhouse-style jam incorporating Mad.] They're very evenly matched.I go back and forth between the two, but I'd probably go for Mad. | |

The Queen got really pissed that Charles was losing. So she stepped in. Prince got twisted into the shape of the Symbol. It was aggravating because the voice was this annoying high-pitched mess that sounded nothing like P. I love imitations that get it right. Anyone ever see Phil Lamarr on Mad TV do Prince? That shit kills me. He gets the deep voice right and everything. | |

I know! He was also in "purple rain", he was one of the people in the auidence while prince was singing "purple rain". ~KiKi | |
