Another beautiful slow jam from Prince, love it! And I thought P had shot his complete load of slow joints on Emancipation CD 2, boy I was wrong! Don't u want to come , 3121. It's gonna be so much fun, 3121. That's where the party be, 3121. Y'all can come if u want to, but u can never leave!

One of the album best, I'd say a live version would be interesting, especially piano solo.

I thought this song was going to be about the plight of single mothers.
Despite the irksome title it's not bad at all...he's really going old school with the balads on PE. It has a nice groove and the lyrics are okay. Maybe if he'd said MY Future Baby Mama?... Nice but not particularly outstanding. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

LA is a great big freeway
Put a hundred down and buy a car In a week maybe two They'll make you a star Weeks turn into years How quick they pass And all the stars there never were Are parking cars and pumping gas We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I didn't even have to google those lyrics. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I love Baby Mama! She just doesn't want to leave my bedroom...
And the oldschool drumm-programming reminds me of the neon-heart on the wall... Cinderella was a waste of time... Love it.

This is easily the best song on the album, because it actually sounds like a Prince song. All you others say Hell Yea!!

This song is everything I've wanted out of a Prince song, for years. I love it. The beat, the music, Prince's voice, it is all powerful and it blends well together. The lyrics roll of Prince's tongue, and it is perfect. I love this song so much. It will be on my top played list in no time. Love it. I would buy the whole album for this song alone.

PROOF THAT THE ORG INFLUENCES PRINCE'S SONG TOPICS:
I've heard it said my love was look-a-like

I think that this song with correct promotion, could rival the sucess of Mariah Carey's "Don't forget about us"!

i try to think of what a music video for this song would be like- and i think it would be like the "Damn U" video. in a club, him just singing, women looking at him, etc etc. "So shall it be written, so shall it be sung..."

Easily the worst on the album. Lyrically it's just plain sad. |

Nope. Not even CLOSE, my dear. You just ended up displaying "easily the worst" TASTE ever, with that comment. [Edited 7/15/07 16:29pm]

I love, love, LOVE this song. I agree with JasonStar, the song has everything I could want from a Prince jam. Love it, 9/10 " A mind changed against its will, is of the same opinion still"
