yup. at the rainbow children celebration...got to sit with him for about 2 1/2 hours and talk about religion, men taking women, miles, how long it took him to record TRC, RAVE, etc. Kevin Smith was directing the video. Of course I'll never see this footage because it's locked away in his vault. My friend asked if he could shake Prince's hand and he actually did. amazing. We saw Kevin Smith coming out to the parking lot after as it was the last day of the celebration...he looked bummed...after watching Kevin's video about the celebration, I finally learned why.  | |

Oh..and I met him on a Northwest Flight back from Hawaii from his Anniversary concert in 97 with Mayte. I spoke to him but he didn't speak, just smiled and acknowledged me...said I was at the concert..blah blah nonsense. | |

Met Prince twice
Fist time 1993 the  tour in Washington DC. A club called the cellar in downtown DC. Carmen Electra and Myte were both with him. Carmen and Myta first came down the stairs into the vip room. Then P came in to a round of applause. He was standing right in front of me near the bar. It was an akward moment so I just said "hey man...great show tonight" He said thank you. I then said "man how do you continue to get these fine ass women"...he let out a loud cackle (we both did) and he and his body guards moved on to his table
Second time was in 1996 or 97 at Club Zei in Washington DC. I was the front doorman and this lemo pulled up. At firtl all I saw was this red pump (heels) and pant leg...then I saw the hair and said "oh shit thats P!" His body guard motioned for me and I immediately called on the radio for the club director to open the side entrance and private stairs to the VIP lounge. As P walked by he said thank you..and I said "your welcome its great meeting you again" (of course he didn't remember me but smiled) He stayed upstairs for about an hour and jetted. I later learned that he had inquired about buying the club as it had a very industrial feel and this was around the Glam Slam days Both time P was real cool laid back and neither time did I really want to bother him other than to say whats up. I love how you recognized Prince by a pump and a pants leg! its funny because I thought it was a woman...until I saw the hair (didn't see the face right away) The hair was the dead giveaway. It was really poofy. You wanna know what else was pretty amazing? Dude was clean as usual but he was walking with the cain/staff. I have never seen anyone pimp(walk) as hard as P was.
