Wow I would love to dance next to him in a club! I cant imagine how he would dance though, cos he wouldnt be able to bust the moves that he does on stage!!

A friend of mine was Prince's driver during his visits to The Netherlands. I once called him and heard Prince on the background asking "a call for me?" and my friend answered "no, it's a girlfriend", when Prince laughed "shame she's not here, we could have a party".
And in 1986, 1988 (2 times), 1990 and 2002 I was in front of the stage during Prince's concerts, where we had eyecontact. But that's all...  I love Prince and chocolate - in that order | |

I've posted this story on here before, so in case anyone is sick of reading it, I'll give the drastically abridged version:
I went to 3121 Jan 26 and was lucky enough to be right in front of the stage. During Musicology he grabbed my hands while I was clapping and danced with me from the stage (he didn't have to reach far I stand 6'1" tall). He looked me in the eye the entire time and I was so embarrased I wanted to turn away. I was trying to talk to him and put he his hand around his ear and bent down to hear me, but the music was too loud. I got so excited I started jumping up and down. He thought I was trying to get onstage, so he was trying to pull me up (and couldn't). So I got myself on the stage and we did the bump (I was the only one up there). He smiled and gave me the what's up when I went back the next night. I really wished I could've talked to him--but what was I going to say? At least I touched his hands. Does this count? HE WAS THERE AND ALOT OF OTHER CELEBRITIES. AND THERE WAS AN ALTERCATION BETWEEN HIM AND WESLEY SNIPES WHO WAS THERE SMOKING(IT WASNT CIGARETTES EITHER) PRINCE HAD HIS BODYGUARDS TELL WELSY TO STEP BACK(PROBABLY DUE TO THE SMOKE) AND WESLEY TOOK IT TO HEART AND STARED A AGRUMENT WITH THE GUARD. THIS WAS AROUND THE RAVE ERA STILL BECAUSE PRINCE WAS WEARING THAT EXACT BLUE SHINY OUTFIT FROM THE RAVE CD COVER BUT HE HAD A BLACK TRENCH OVER IT. I REMEMBER SEEING THAT HE DOESNT WEAR AS MUCH MAKEUP AT NIGHT AS I THOUGHT,,ALOT OF EYELINER BUT THATS ALL THAT WAS NOTICEABLE AND YEAH HES A TINY DUDE WITH BIG HAIR. I also have another story that doesn't involve me, but I've always liked it:
Back in 1978 Prince was doing promotion for Soft and Wet and he made a stop at a now closed San Francisco record store. My friend was 14 at the time and Prince was signing "Soft and Wet" 45s. While he was signing hers, she asked if she could give him a kiss on the cheek. He looked up at her, but didn't respond. She went ahead gave him a quick peck on the cheek and she said all he did was look up and smirk at her, like he couldn't believe she did that. But he still didn't say anything. I always thought that was such a cute story. | |
