Favorite Guitar Solo on Record I've recently gotten a few friends who usually listen to hard rock/guitar god type music (Clapton, Zeppelin, etc.) into Prince by finally getting them to see just how good Prince can be playing guitar himself. We were recently debating what his best guitar solos were... we were limiting it to stuff on studio albums, because otherwise all of us probably would have gone with his performance at the RnR Hall of Fame.
At any rate, I thought I'd throw this question... just looking for a personal favorite. It doesn't have to be anything technical, spectacular - just which one (or couple) of solos is your favorite for one reason or another. For me, hands down, I'd go with I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man. It's a great song, and the solo seems to fit the song perfectly. | |
