She is not afraid to play to her strengths and like a queen bee has a team working with her. P's ego is strating to affect his studio work and this track proves it. Yeah , great Bass intro but what else is there?.To think that P was the King of groove, even Lilly Allen covering the Kaiser Chiefs canes this track.

Best song on the album, but Shelby's voice is way too high in the mix. She should be shoved to the background instead of dominating the duet.
If it was remixed, then a verse by someone like Common or q-tip would be the nuts...

Really enjoyed this song. I'm not bothered who's voice is where in the mix, I just know it makes me wanna get up and dance. wooooo 9/10. " A mind changed against its will, is of the same opinion still"

If it was remixed, then a verse by someone like Common or q-tip would be the nuts... that's the only reason this is my least fav song on the album. it's cool enough but on a prince album with only 10 songs i want to hear prince do the singing. to me this song sounds like a Shelby solo song with just an occasional prince shout out and a few lines here and there. the fact that i can hardly hear him on the track makes me wish that it'd been relegated to a bside in favor of Glass Cutter. i know you will all think i'm nuts but it's not the song itself it's the vocals. with prince on strong leadvox i would enjoy this a lot more. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Prince has bounced back to the character a lot, most notabaly on TRC, "The opposote of Nato is Aten". Akhenaton was an 18th Dynasty Pharoah who created Monothesism by praying to the one god, The Aten or sundisk. His birth name was Tuthmosis III, and some beleive that he was where the story of Moses (Mosis) came from as he brought Monotheism (amid much adversity) to Egypt. He died and the Pantheon is reinstated under Tutankamun. The CD single artwork for "Peace" was a relief showing Akhenaton and his sundisk so I guess for whatever reason Prince identified with Akhenaton or how he stood for what he belived in and went against the status quo to embrace it. He has often alluded to Akhenaton over the last 10 years. In a side note to this, it may interest you to know that Akhenaton had himself represented in all statues and reliefs as being Androgynous. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!
