It's like "Disco Mavis". Maybe Gnarls Barkley will cover this in concert since Prince covers "Crazy". What's with the P Diddy uh, uh?

Meh....It was cool. Kinda funky, disco feel. I guess that if I knew who she was I'd feel better about it. Like...with Cindy C, I KNEW who Prince spoke of. All I get with Miss Chelsea is her on her page holding 3121 perfume.

I LOVE THIS SONG!! It's really funky and I love the singing. Prince and the female lead sound great together. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

To paraphrase Rene Magritte: Ceci n'est pas le funk.
I was very disappointed in this track. After reading the listening party reviews I expected a lot more funk, and this just doesn't deliver for me. It's not necessarily a bad song, it's just not as funky as a lot of people seem to think it is. Partially because of the disco/big band horns, and partially because of the lyrics. No way would they bump this in the clubs I go to in New York. Accujack said: I'll bet your ass sung along to "shake it like a Polaroid picture" when Andre 3000 said it. Now didn't you? But the problem is that "shake it like a Polaroid picture" was original when Andre 3000 made up that catchphrase, what, 4-5 years ago? Prince using "shake it like a juicy-juice" makes it sound like he's just biting off a phrase that someone else came up with a few years ago to try and stay relevant (same with his use of 'baby mama'). Prince should have been the one who came up with shake it like a Polaroid picture...not recycling it into juicy-juice. And what the hell--between Juicy-Juice and Raisenets in his mouth, Prince sounds like he has the diet of a 10 year old. (Still love ya P! ) . [Edited 7/24/07 21:22pm]

"What's a matter, Cindy? Don't you like me?!?" That was the jam on "The Black Album". Matter of fact, if he released that, today, and maybe changed the name, it would have been great. It doesn't sound dated or anything. I still haven't heard "Chelsea Rodgers", yet. But, if it's anything like "Cindy C", it's a certified party theme.

Hot damn that motherfuckin' song is bad! When it first started, I immediately said "DISCO" (my first love). Definately the best song on the album. Andy is a four letter word.

if this is the funkiest track on the album ..then i'm throwing in my funk card right now..
if i wanna hear donna summer i'll go listen 2 some true disco music... damn P where is the funk!!!??? man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

It's funky, great drums, bass, horns with a wonderful prince guitar riff. The bomb. I am listening to a 5 and a half minute version is this the one on the album?
The best prince track in ages? Don't think so. I could name it least 6 off of 3121 that were better. This is not even as funky as 3121. This song is average at best and sounds very discoish in the vein of evelyn champagne king's i don't know if it's right. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I wouldn't call this my favorite from the album, but it's the ONLY one that made my body move immediatiely.
As a composition it's not that great, but as a groove he really nailed it. I'd heard about her vocals as being too much, and I was pleased to hear that it wasn't true. My Legacy

Overrated, but might kill at an aftershow or on the ONA tour. Catchy and nice in it's way, but anyone who calls this "funk" don't know what funk is. I like it, but this song is straight up disco.
