It ain't gonna work if you try to "view" the song. I'm so tired of people begging and posting my links. It is absolutely crazy the amount of begging going on for a new song. The next time I get something I'm just going to share it with the 5 or 6 good people who I know I can trust. I'm so tired of people posting my links in public forums. It's just a new song, you'll hear it when you hear it.

Umm, sorry to trouble you.

This song is weak! To compare it to "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" or "Let's Go Crazy" is nuts! To blame the death of radio for its likely failure to be noticed is a convenient excuse...and one showing up on a number of threads about this album...yet my radio still gets quite a few stations, which suggests it's alive and kicking.

I finally heard it and it was definitely not what I expected, especially after having read the lyrics...
Believe it or not, but I'm not feeling it. It's too monotonous and bubblegum pop for my taste. Never have I thought I would say something like that about a Prince song. eek Well, there's the first time for everything. It's not the Prince I am so fond of. I actually agree with the people here who find it weak and boring (I can't believe I'm saying this). BUT it definitely has the potential to grow on me and I can see it as a fun song for times when you just wanna be happy and dance!

The bass and beat remind me a lot of the Little Red Corvete dance mix.

god, what a fucking crybaby. "i have this and i'm not sharing it." well then shut up and keep it to yourself then. if everyone's going to hear it eventually anyway, why post it at all? people are grateful for a link, but not if the person that started it is going to piss and moan about how everyone's "stealing" from him. rolleyes

Exactly!! Great point indeed!!

I hope whoever reads this knows that the majority of us here at the org are extremely selfless...and don't mind sharing what should be all of ours to begin with. If you don't feel that way, that's fine too. But, don't blame those that are asking for your own internal greed and selfishness. It's very ugly, and has no place in here if you ask me.

I don't mind being asked, and I'm happy to offer.

Just my 2 cents.

And are you happy with "strangely appealing"? biggrin

But I think I kind of agree with you. It IS very pop and everything but somehow - it's also kind of strange. It's definitely interesting, IMO.

So I'm guessing we're all hearing this low-fi almost mono sounding radio version correct?
I look forward to hearing a great version. It's def a later Revolution-type track. Also in the mode of When U Were Mine and I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man. Wendy (pretty sure) sounds great on it as well.

And "Future Baby Mama" is also one that I can play all day and not get tired...

And "Guitar" and the demo version of it have both grown on me big-time.

Planet Earth is looking more and more like it's gonna be one of the best Prince cd's in a loooong time. Hopefully a classic.

Just heard TOUWC, and I like it. I agree with you about Planet Earth. smile

Here! Here!

However I cant decide between FBM and T1UWC - which one is more catchy?

For now its FBM - cant get this one outta my head!

Cant wait 2 throw 2gether a mashup of the entire CD! PE is bad-ass
