(a really deep sigh, btw)

i just woke up about an hour ago & it seems like i've just awoke from some strange dream. a really surreal one...

...i dreamt that i had gone 2 what coulda been the suckiest paisley party ever...or at least 2 the suckiest one i've ever been 2... da horror.

awright, 4 my report, this'll be short & sweet:

i went along with four of my other mpls .org dahlings (ya'll know who ya'll is, u all got reports typed up ) and we got 2 the park at around...oh, 11-ish or so. i don't pay 2 close attention 2 time when i'm out there. met up with some mo' ppl from the .org (see end of report)--hell if i know what time we got in, but it wuz about 10 or so minutes after we arrived. pretty quick go-thru, although there were ppl who were there since 8:30 that nite

one funny thing: the little "speech" the paisley guard/goon gave us a little prior 2 openin the doors. went somewhat like this:

"welcome 2 paisley, glad u could make it! just a reminder, no cameras, recordin equipment, weapons, blah blah blah..."

it's like, "guy, we know this awready!" that wuz really strange...

anyhoo: paid our $7 bux, went thru the security sweep...the party--phuc, i can't even call it a "party"--wuz held in the soundstage. the adjacent room wuz closed off with this "security line" tape on it...

2 make an awready growin thread even longer, i will give p props 4 basically announcin/tellin it like it is on the npgmc, as far as the announcement...it wuz pretty cut-n-dried: dance party, we'll be filmin, "be dressed 2 sweat", all that. but here's the thing:

p wuz in the damn soundstage a couple times. he coulda acknowledged all of us in some way. it don't matter that he didn't get up on the stage & play, a simple "thank u" woulda sufficed. the dj sayin "thanx" don't count, imo.

ladies, i gotta give u a clothin report, like i always do: brotha wore a basic black suit and those gawd-awful moon earwraps. (<---that's 4 the earwraps, not the suit) he looked clean, as always.

the weirdest thing about this entire ordeal is that while the camera guy wuz filmin, someone wuz givin the ppl who were dancin their asses off & showin out 4 the camera directions like, "wave your hands in the air! scream! applaud!" and such.

it made everyone look...well, staged, in a way. i wuz thinkin, "man p, get yo ass on the stage or talk 2 everyone so u can see how loud we really can be!" but then again whenever i'm at paisley i'm pretty much a wallflower and i don't dance. i people-watch. i'm 2 sexy 2 sweat.

i guess the highlights of my nite were as follows:

ol' boy musta knew i wuz in the house. they played "sexy dancer". odd, cuz i wuz just thinkin of that song before it came on... ricco wuz there, and he started up an electric slide/bus stop frenzy durin "sd"...i tried 2 get my electric slide on, but it had been so long since i did it i think i made myself look stoopid.

watchin all the ppl freek out 4 the camera. funny, funny stuff.

the ride home wuz the most fun i had all nite. seriously, we were all doin a cross between bitchin about how disappointed we were about how much of a let-down the "party" wuz and crackin jokes about ol' boy.

and that is that, 4 the most part...if i forgot anything, endorphin'll pick it up 4 me.
