Sometimes It Snows in April-The power of loving a song you used to hate.

Sometimes it snows in April. It wasn't until I saw Prince at the Kodak theater here in LA for One Night Alone that I drew an appreciation for this song. I never liked it. Never listened to it.

During the One Night Alone Concert he played this and the audience reaction was so fierce that I turned around and caught a glimpse of a woman in the aisle who in an instant began bawling because Prince was playing a song she so obviously treasured.

The power of music is the reason for life.

I've always loved that song!

I think it's one of the best endings to any of his albums, as well as one of his most touching and heartfelt songs.

I wonder how he feels about performing it now, with everything that has happened to him since he wrote it.

It's definitely one of my favs!

It's a wonderful song, but it is a sad song and at one time I couldn't listen to that track. The best part and Love it isn't Love until it's Past...

It's my all-time favourite Prince song, but I can't listen to it more than once in three months. Simply makes me too sad.
Funny, cuz all the other ballads by Prince, sad or not, usually just make me smile or even laugh. But SISIA seems so honest... it's truly a masterpiece.

It's kinda funny how that happens-I was ALWAYS like that with Take Me With U-dont get me wrong, its a cool song, but it never really did it 4 me.Then I saw him 4 the first time in Manchester in 90, and it blew me away when he did it-now I LOVE IT.The power of his live performance-cool as fuck!

sad That was probably me wink Im always tissue armed just in case (ugh... i like 2 set myself up 2 b moved okayyy!)... it may seem kind of over the top but its just so amazing how one person can grab at an emotion so effortlessly ... some people just have this luster that blinds your senses, & try as u might u cant stop a song from entering your soul! :p

Its gotten 2 the point where i dont even have 2 listen 2 the lyrics of the song 4 my feelings 2 bust in2 a tidal wave (<-- i call that the 'melding in the essence of profundity stage' hehehe)... and it just so happens that ‘Sometimes it snows in April’ has this angelic rhythm which ironically reminds me of my grandfather’s spirits ... so ... yes power indeed smile
