Found it on Kazaa. Anyone else know what the heck it is? I think it's from some awards show.

Here's the synopsis:

JB is playing, he calls Michael Jackson out of the audience. This is like 1982. Jacko sings a verse, does a little JB dance, then whispers in JB's ear. Turns out he told JB that Prince was in the audience, and JB calls Prince up.

P plays some guitar, does some of that dance/posing thing, then takes his shirt off and screams into the mic. As he walks off, he knocks this big light pole over.

Anyone else seen this? I'm 100% serious about this.

This is really old. It is part of a James Brown concert in LA that was taped and released on laserdisc. I have the disc and the MJ part is left in and the Prince part is cut out.

I also got the full Muppets show with the appearance, with Swedish-type subtitles.

Prince tried to spin around the light pole and nearly fell into the audience, as it was just a prop...

I haven't seen that in years... it was funny.

He also seemed pretty lost on guitar and wasn't very effective that night.

I have this. It's cool to see MJ try to keep up with the band. I mean, he gets up there sings a little and sudenly the band changes tempo and he starts dancing. You can tell it takes him by surprise.

Then Prince gets up there, picks up a guitar and starts giving the band signals. You know the signals he gives... the band has to watch HIM closely. Hmmm. Who's Bad?

This looks like the summer of '83'. Prince is wearing the same outfit that he wore on the First Ave gig 8-3-83 (the first Wendy appearance). This was the big pre-hype before MJ's Thriller came out and the end of Prince's 1999 tour. He was preparing for Purple Rain back then. Man was that some raw stuff from both of them or what?

It's totally hilarious...I just saw it last Saturday for the first time...Michael Jackson whispers something into James Brown's ear and next thing you know he is inviting Prince on stage...you see itty, bitty Prince riding on the back of Big Chick until he gets to the stage and he takes off a pair of white gloves he is wearing and throws them in the audience...well, they threw them back...
he is continually wiping his nose and looks totally out of it...strums a guitar a few times and then grabs a light post prop and practically falls into the audience...it's priceless...
