Wow... this is like answering "Which is my favorite child?" I'd have to go with "Scandalous Sex Suite's The Rapture"... That extended solo is simply otherworldly. It could at once make me fall in love, wind up my libido and drive me to tears.
Honorable mentions include the end of "3 Chains of Gold" (a song which otherwise leaves me cold), the end of "I Hate U" (the rawness is amazing) and the unreleased "Habibi," which, if you're into "Computer Blue," Hendrix or old Funkadelic, you would absolutely love! Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Also Shockdelica has some nice guitar. The touches at the end of the Scarlet Pussy 12" are quintessentially Prince. Oh, and Family Name is quite good, both live and recorded. I agree!!! I have always loved the guitar mixed under the song Lovesexy . Definitely the Undertaker. I'm gonna say the Ride and Poor Goo or Magoo. Remember when he did these songs all the time at the aftershows? The ride was his favorite song I think because he Constantly played it Remember? I like when Prince wails and makes those faces when he is In the Take me With U video. That's a Great face. Don'tcha think? What face is that the Prune Face all sucked in like. I dig that Funk Face. So Funny. | |
