UK Orgers - How Much Would You Pay??

For the Live Set and the Piano Set?
Being as HMV are offering Live at £50 - do you not think that the NPGMC members have got value for money??
Of course, we can all download the piano for sod all, but the actual disc - plus Live. How much would you pay?

So, basically what I am saying is this.
For ONA Live and the proper ONA disc - but NOT - NPGMC membership. How much is such a thing worth to you?
Being as ONA Live in UK will cost £49.99, how would you value the 4 disc total package.
Again, I am NOT a member and have NO axe to grind - its a simple question...

Lets face it,noone in their right mind would pay £50 for a 3 CD set.

How much was Emancipation at retail £27.99 or something like that.

Wait a while it will soon be in the reduced section at Virgin and HMV

Much love yes Pochacco

I wish the NPGMC would get back online so the staff can get back to work.

I think Emancipation was over £30 wasn't it? I waited and bought it at the reduced price of £7.99.

I won't buy ONAL unless the price falls to around £20 - £25. It is classed as a double album after all.

yes but its not just a double cd, its a box set! like a big box with ona live double cd, it aint over, and ona studio as well as a poster and a jumbo booklet! its not a jewel case emancipation type thing! i paid £30 for emancipation £50 is a reasonable price for this but it could b cheaper like everything else in the world!

Amazon have it at £42.99 at the moment. Admittedly you would have postage charges on that but it would save you going out in this bloody Siberian weather!

I think £50 is a little steep but I'm anxious about waiting until it is cut because I don't think they will last very long. It is currently number 3 in the pre-order chart.

Gee- I'd pay anything, its worth so so so much.

Prince is leading the way in giving music a definitive monetary value. We should really try hard to follow his lead.

I have a record by Billy Ray Martin, that I thinks just fantastic, I paid about 13 pounds but I'm going to sell all my wordly goods and with the proceeds send a cheque to Billy for teh amount raised!

"Black" MF: Get a punchbag, or, better still, smack a mirror the next time one looks at you the wrong way. You'll feel better.

You paid £30 for Emancipation??? You didn't shop around very well.

Even my local Virgin shop had it for £19.99 when it first came out. I always remember the price because when I bought it, some sad fuck on the till said 'Ha ha, 19.99 - that's a Prince song, isn't it'.

The big question is - NPGMC members are weighing up the retail price of ONA Live with the value of their membership. Now, the retail version's price includes the profit taken up by the distributor AND the retailer. So why the fuck are members paying the same, if not more, for the same product?
