So with that I say, stay tuned; what you may have missed in Vegas may be coming soon to your city or to a city near you-donÂ’t miss out!" - mike phillips

Mike Phillips section: " Rento will deliver a sick solo on keys..." I think it was supposed to be slick? Unless they don't like each other.... No. He meant sick. It means better than good. Also the terms nasty, ridiculous, disqusting are used by musicians and it all means the same thing.

[Edited 4/16/07 15:01pm] I couldn't find it in wikipedia under musical terms, slang or sick. Will the average reader recognize sick as a "good thing"? If you have a publication that's read by national and international people, using urban terms or subcultural terms, confuses the message, and it's not understood. It looks like a typo along with other typos pointed out. Will the Japanese fans understand it?

I was just letting you know he meant sick. It is not a typo. As I said before musicians use the term sick to describe someone who plays good.

Actually, I checked your locked thread. It was started 4/15 about 12:40 ish. this one was started sooner: 4/14 10:40 . If threads cover the same topic, referals are given (reply #5) and it gets locked. No point in having multiple threads on the same topic.

Amen to all the props the live version of "Satisfied" is getting on this thread. A week or so ago, there was a thread about the best Prince slow drags and "Satisfied" was overlooked or downplayed.
If you ain't feelin' it while listening to this song, you ain't got a drop of soul under your skin. The tempo is perfect. The instrumentation is tight. Prince's vocals are alternately soaring and then deeper than Zen philosophy. Put this on and it's over. I'm telling you. She don't stand a chance. It ain't even fair.
