Hit and Run "jukebox" show

Hi. I'm trying to solve a mystery. Sometime in 1986, Prince & The Revolution did a show and (I believe) Rolling Stone magazine wrote about it. Here's all I can remember from the review: it was in the States; it may have been a surprise gig; he did a portion of "She's Always in My Hair"; and at one point he told the audience "I'll be your jukebox! I'll play whatever you want!"

OK. Did I imagine this review? Have I screwed up the facts? Is the "jukebox" line right but the "Always in My Hair" part just a figment of my imagination? Help!!
