In my life time, there is no comparison. I'm all about P. MJ was good, but took some hard unnecessary drops. Besides, P has more talent, MJ only sings and dance, P sings, dance, and plays instruments. That shows the talent for me.

Prince is, was, and will always be the better artist between the two IMO. There's no comparison.

Yeah, me too. Prince's splits are so awesome. They made me a fan initially when he did them during the last 8 minutes of "Purple Rain", and when I started on my journey as a huge fan that thinks about him 24/7, his split and dancing in the LRC video make me smile so much.

I don't care who wants to call Michael Jackson a freak show or not,he is legend and has had a prfound impact on the music industry just like Prince has. and when he was at the top of his game during 70's and 80's, he was untouchable. No one was a better performer. I really think this comparison is stupid though. Prince is a musician, Michael Jackson is not. Big difference, people should stop with the comparisons.

Michael has been a Artist for quite a long time and all the personal stuff aside he has written some great music and had some great live shows as well. And a huge following.

Prince is much the same.Great music and shows too.And a huge following.


Micheal has sold more records, hell alot of artists havwe sold more records than Prince.

Regardless....I like both. And can give credit where it is due.

Michael Jackson is naturally a better singer, his voice is higher, more powerful and soulful. But I can't deny that after the Bad era, his voice was clearly changing.

I think those who really like P's music, his lyrical content and musicianship are clouded by certain "facts", yes I'll be bold enough to say Facts. When P's voice was shrill and he had that one stomp dance move, no way was he a better a dancer or singer as MJ. A few years later P would improve his vocals and dancing, and I submit he sounds better now than MJ, becuz MJ doesn't or can't sing anymore, but if we're talking about their primes in vocal and dancing ability, Prince is not even seeing MJ. Would you put your life savings, let alone 5 dollars on a dance battle between Prince and MJ in their prime? Vocals, which is a closer call and certainly more sujective, I'll still take MJ 69-87 over any Prince years.
