I remember seeing doodles Prince did for his 1999 jacket. Someone also told me he drew the cover of 1999. I was wondering why he (seemingly) quit including his drawings with his albums? Or if he still does any kind of painting/photography/sculpture/drawing etc?

I dig it when musicians include that kind of stuff. Even if they suck, its still interesting and a bit more intimate.

yes he does, a bodygard told he draws very well, maybe he'll draw with me one day...

I keep wondering if he in fact did the drawings for the New Power Soul CD booklet. The style reminds me of the 1999 cover. I also wonder who does the drawings for the NPGMC site. Anybody else wonder about these too?

I never knew he was an artist of that kind too. would love 2 see his work. my mother was an artist. no, i cant draw. i do have other creative abilities. but she was VERY GOOD. beautiful scenery, and flowers and fashion models... she was offered many jobs, one being an artist for our city newspaper.

always doing something with his hands, if Prince is not writing, or playing an nstrument, he is doodling...a tension releasing habit.
